Come Grow With Us!

There are many opportunities to participate in Trinity’s Music and Worship Arts Ministry. We are experiencing growth in all programs. Musicians, singers, and media technicians are encouraged to share their talents. All levels of experience are welcome.

Chancel Choir

If you love to sing and can carry a tune come give us a try. We always have room for more singers and the choir enjoys the most comfortable seats in the Sanctuary. The upcoming year will be filled with wonderful anthems, meaningful cantatas and lots of fun and fellowship. The choir sings for the 11:00 service, seasonal concerts and special programs. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 and will take place in the Sanctuary until the completion of the new music room in November.

Rivers of Life Praise Band

For contemporary Christian music fans we have the River’s of Life praise band. The praise band consists of singers and musicians who lead songs of praise and worship. The music is fast paced and spiritually rewarding. We are always looking for worship leaders, soloists, back up singers and musicians. The River’s of Life service is at 6:30 on Sunday evenings. Praise band members have the flexibility to participate every week or once or twice a month. Rehearsals begin in September on Thursday evenings at 7:30.

Hand Bell Choir

The Hand Bell Choir is led by Webby Sauls and is tons of fun. Trinity has three octaves of hand bells and a music library that can accommodate all levels of experience. The choir performs special music for worship services and seasonal programs.

Youth Contemporary Music Ensemble

This ensemble is made up of youth from 6th to 12th grade. They perform Contemporary Christian Music and include singers and musicians. There are also opportunities for youth interested in sound engineering and video. The ensemble meets from 5:00 to 6:00 on Wednesday afternoons.

Church Musicians and Soloists

Musicians, soloists and small ensembles are encouraged to provide special music throughout the year and are welcomed at all services. Our Christmas cantata has parts for trumpet, flute, percussion and electronic keyboard. Trinity’s Music and Worship Arts Director, Carol Rowland, is available for personal rehearsal time.

Children’s Choir

Children’s music is an integral part of our worship arts program. These future church singers and musicians are given the opportunity to learn vocal technique, musical notation and rhythm. The children’s music program includes 1st through 5th graders and meets in the Sanctuary on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 6:45. Our children are introduced to all forms of sacred music and participate in worship services and seasonal programs

Cherub Choir

We even have a program for our youngest church goers. Webby Sauls leads the Cherub Choir for children from ages three to five. The Cherubs learn sacred songs by rote and through play and sing during the Christmas pageant and for the 11:00 service. Cherubs meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 in the nursery.

Media and Audio Visual Technicians

There is a need for volunteers who are interested in multimedia production. PowerPoint is used at every River’s of Life service. Volunteers are responsible for artistic slides of song lyrics and scripture. We also need audio technicians. Quality sound engineering is essential not only in the Family Activities Center but also in the Sanctuary. Both rooms have state of the art equipment that is used for sound reinforcement and recording of services, concerts and special events.
