Click here for big pic.On Sunday, 21 September 2008, the Families Growing with God class will begin a seven week study called "Confronting the Controversies", a DVD and discussion study from Adam Hamilton of the Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas.

Due to the nature of the study, I'm tweaking our Sunday morning class format just a little. Here's what it will look like:
- 9:45 AM - 9:50 AM
- Welcome / Announcements
- 9:50 AM - 10:10 AM
- Begin group discussion or video presentation
- 10:10 AM - 10:35 AM
- Continue/begin group discussion of lesson
- 10:35 AM - 10:45 AM
- Prayer / Praise list, Closing Prayer
I look forward to spending this time with you each week as we become closer to Christ through this study and continue in our journey to become all that God intended.

Here is the schedule for our upcoming classes:

| President | Oversees all class functions / activities. Runs monthly class officer's meeting. Handles Announcements & Prayer / Praise list at the end of each class. Should always be up-to-date on all class activities. Class liaison to the church. | Chris Garrett |

| Treasurer | Maintains class financial records, collects and maintains class finances, makes report to the class on the 1st Sunday of each month. | Margaret Bachman |
